DUSK music festival was a dream come true- because it was all the music therapy that we needed. This may have been the best DUSK yet, with over 32 artists spread across three stages! The sun was out, and the weather was perfect as day one began even before the show did! Starting at 8am, events were scheduled to get your day started right doing yoga, meditation and other fun activities to help you rise and sweat!

This year, it was helpful that you can now get all the info you need in one app, since DUSK just partnered with Echo Nightlife Technologies (@Echo.AZ on Instagram). It provided easy access to set times, maps and other useful festival tips right on their app! We also loved the fact that Sparkling Ice was the MVP again this year, providing free beverages throughout the festival to keep everyone hydrated! Even Vantage West Credit Union showed their love to the community by passing out free face masks and snacks! #FreeFoodWasn’tJustForPlatinumVIP! When you weren’t jamming out at one of the stages, you could watch artists collaborating together on a mural, or catch a bite from one of the many vendors on site.

Overall it was a rush of feels each time a new artist hit the stage! Rezz just stole our hearts with her cosmic vibes, and one of the most talked about artists this weekend had to be Two Door Cinema Club! What an amazing live performance they put on! Cray was a hit and everyone was vibing out to her during her set. Malaa had the crowd going wild and his set was just fire! We were so stoked that Tucson is now officially apart of the ‘Malaa Nation’. WhatSoNot was keeping it hot and of course Kaskade was killer! Plus there were a couple artists I had never heard of before DUSK music festival, but it didn’t take them long to win me over!

The free afterparties were mini events in themselves, which you shouldn’t have missed out on because we got a double dose of Wax Motif who was at HiFi on Saturday, and Goldroom threw down an amazing set at Congress on Sunday night! It was a great way to keep the party going, after the show had ended! We want to thank everyone who came out downtown to celebrate DUSK 2019 with us and were also want to thank Relentless Beats for curating such a great lineup for this festival! There is no better place to reconnect with yourself than on a dancefloor. This year’s DUSK Festival was such a success and was probably one of the best weekends we have had all year–simply dancing in the desert!
